Medical Assistant/Cardiac Technician program's mission is to provide post-secondary educational vocational training to individuals who wish to become employed in the medical field as a medical assistant. The graduate will be able to perform front and back office tasks, such as communicating with insurance companies and phlebotomy, and other related tasks to the medical office or hospital. Graduates would be able to work in doctor's offices, hospitals, labs, outpatient clinics, chiropractic offices, acupuncture offices, and physical therapy clinics.
Telecommunications Technology program's mission is to provide post-secondary educational vocational training to individuals who wish to become employed in the telecommunications technology industry. The graduate will be able to install/maintain/repair today's technology equipment, set-up the network between telephone and computer systems, learn the principles of basic electricity and electronics, installation of fiber optics and computer networking. The telecommunications technology graduate would be able to work in companies such as TWC, SBC, AT&T and other carriers, service provider installation companies, computer sales/repair/installation companies, security companies and cabling companies.
